The planets have finally aligned and I'm ready to host a "Furniture Refinishing Workshop" in which I'll cover the basics of painting furniture: paints, supplies, sanding, waxing, staining, etc.
Not only will I teach you what I know, but will also have hands-on stations for you to give it a go yourself. Try your hand at an orbital sander, see the difference between a stain and a wax, learn about various paints and paint brands. Who knows...maybe I'll even learn something new!
Details:
When: Saturday, October 15
Time: 10am-12pm (I think we should be able to cover the basics in about 2 hours, but if we run over, the party can just keep goin'!)
Place: My "studio" in Liverpool (a VERY fancy name for my garage and outdoor workspace...I can't sand in my house!). I'll send out my address once I receive confirmation from you.

What to wear: something that can get a bit messy--this ain't washable paint!
