Lil' Darling

This dresser was done back in the fall when we could still see the ground--before record-breaking snowfall in December that hasn't really let up through January. My client was weeks away from having her second little girl and wanted a dresser after the fashion of "Pinkalicious" (my most requested style by far). The added twist was that the room was going to be pink-butterfly-and-green-turtle themed, and I happened to have on hand the perfect knobs to tie the colors together. I love the outcome. By the way, I just can't get enough of the detail at the bottom of this piece--it adds such a feminine flare to what could otherwise be a fairly standard dresser.

I've got a few more pieces on the way...and guess what? They aren't pink! As much as I enjoy the last few dressers I've done (and obviously go with what my clients want), I'm excited to experiment with some other colors.

  1. Lovely! We've got a couple of "Pinkalicious" fans over here, although I have to admit your dresser is far more tasteful than anything I would have imagined with that adjective. Very chic!
