Think Pink

When I was growing up, one of my favorite summer pastimes was to watch Grease with my girlfriends (thankfully, I was too young to understand some of the more suggestive lingo). The Pink Ladies were the embodiment of "cool." I never went so far as to memorize their "motto," but I do remember it ended with "Think Pink," a battle cry for girls the world over.

As I've mentioned before, I wasn't a big fan of the color pink when I was little (to my mother's chagrin). I've warmed to it over time, especially with two little girls who love pink. This piece, with it's shell-like detail on it's legs and smooth lines looked perfect for a pink pallet. The knobs add a touch of sass in my opinion, a phenomenon that seems to naturally couple something adorned in pink.

  1. The pink ladies pledge is to act cool, to think cool and to be cool....I won't go on:) So sad that I know the words. Cute pics, but you could probably charge more if the full monty was offered...just a thought!
